In my previous post, I explained how to block and unblock ICICI ATM/Debit Card/Credit Card. However, with iMobile, you can only unblock ICICI Bank Debit and Credit Cards. Most people ask me to unblock their cards, but it isn’t possible for me to unblock their Debit and Credit cards. So, I’m writing this post for those who don’t know how to unblock Debit and Credit cards after locking them.
Unlock Debit Card/Credit Card?
You can unblock/unlock your State Bank of India, ICICI Bank Limited, Punjab National Bank, Canara Bank, Bank of Baroda, Bank of India, Union Bank of India, Central Bank of India, HDFC Bank Limited, Indian Overseas Bank, UCO Bank, Oriental Bank of Commerce, Syndicate Bank, Allahabad Bank, etc., Debit and Credit Cards via the following ways:
- Internet Banking.
- Mobile Banking app.
- Customer Care.
- Bank Branch.
1) Internet Banking:
Some banks offer Debit card and credit card blocking and unblocking facilities. If you are using Internet Banking service, check the Debit Card/Credit card blocking option and block-unblock your card.
2) Mobile Banking app:
This is another option for those using a Mobile Banking app. Today, most banks provide Mobile banking facilities to their customers. If Debit card & Credit card blocking-unblocking is an option available within the Mobile banking app, you can lock and unlock Debit & Credit cards easily. Such an option is also available in the ICICI mobile banking app iMobile.
3) Customer Care number:
This is the most popular way. If you want to lock and unlock your card, call your bank’s customer care number and explain your card problem. They will verify some information and may ask for your account number, name, father’s name, date of birth, etc. After verification, they will process your application for locking and unlocking, and your card problem will be resolved as soon as possible.
4) Bank Branch:
If none of the above solutions is working, this option will work 100%. Visit your Bank Branch with your ID proof and an application related to your problem. Contact a customer care representative, and they will resolve your problem immediately.
