For getting a Cent symbol in Apple Mac OS, use the keyboard, hold the Option key and press the number “4”. There you can find not only the Cent symbol but also the Sign of Dollar.

Generally, for inserting characters in Mac OS one doesn’t have to use the keyboard. It can be done directly by using Apple’s built-in Character Viewer. Now make the use of Control keys and the Command Keys, then press the Space bar. You can hold it and insert that symbol at the place wherever you want to.

On Android and iOS devices, the virtual keyboard allows the users to have access to several signs and symbols. From there, the signs can be used according to your needs. You can choose any sign, anytime. There is no need to copy and paste even since getting the right symbols in Android phones is way easier than copying and pasting.

In case you do not have the virtual keyword that allows you to have any symbols, and it is just confined to alphabets and numbers, then you can have it from the app. Go to Google Play or App store, depending on what phone you are using. There you can type keyboard, and you will get several keyboards that have Symbols.

Open the app, view each one of them and choose whatever you would prefer, although each one of them is similar. Then whatever you have chosen, you can download it from there as per your convenience. Once it is installed, you can have access to it, and you won’t be worrying about the symbols anymore.
